The Coolest Day Ever!

Since we are not proselyzingting missionaries, I didn't know if we would have the privilege of teaching and/or baptizing anyone.  Today we were able to participate in the first discussion taught to one of our soldiers.  He is the one who attended church with his "battle buddy" during Basic Training on another base.  He came forward when we asked if there were any members or interested people.  He came to the chapel annex today and met with us and the full-time Elders.  It was very positive and he will be meeting with us on Tuesdays for more lessons, as well as attending on Sundays.
I am so excited.  That was cool.  He is a great guy and wants to know more.......

  3. That is the Best! It reminds me of all of Alma's missions and how he would morn because of the sin around him, but then there was always one and then more who would want to know more! Then the trial or choice they faced. And then the Joy!
When I was listening to radio.lds.org Conversations Episode 1 with Elder Bednar I love how he said, ''I've gained a much greater appreciation for how individual the Lord's love for each of us is . . . . Every place that we travel we have assignments that takes us to various parts of the world. But, it's never the assignment, it's never the function that's really the issue. It's to find individuals that the Lord wants to bless."
It makes me wonder each day now, Who does the Lord want to bless? Am I ready & listening?
