  2. We are just getting ready to submit our papers, probably in about a month. It takes lots of appointments and preparation! We'll let you know soon.

  3. Our papers are in and we are in limbo waiting for the Lord to tell us where and when. This is exciting and nerve wracking.

  4. Our call arrived September 16, 2010. We have been called to be military specialists at Fort Eustis, Virginia. It is on a river that runs into the mouth of the Chesepeke Bay near the North Carolina border -- only a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean. We will be working with the Army recruits that are restricted to base during their training and will be working only with those on the base. We have lived in Virginia before and had a daughter, Jennifer Lynn, born there in Waynesboro in 1974. We have been in contact with the couple that we will be replacing and they are so enthused by their missionary experiences that they really don't want to leave. I'm sure we will love it there. The Lord calls you to where you can do the most good and where He has been preparing you (though life experiences)all of your life to do the most good for His loved ones.

  5. We will be reporting to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on Monday, October 4, 2010. We will be receiving training in Preach My Gospel, Church Education System, and Military Specialists. Then we drive to Virginia to arrive somewhere near October 20, 2010. We are excited.
